Pallet Sorting Systems B.V. integrated THE Standard Pallet Sorting Line with the Motoman Yaskawa Pallet Dismantler.
This saved one operator for the Dismantler, by adding that function to the sorting operator. Now the operator is sorting the good quality A and B and making choices for the robot to dismantle or ” when light damaged go straight to a repair table. By handling the pallets this way we saved time repairing and made the robot Dismantler more effective, letting him dismantle only the more broken pallets.
The choices are:
- choice 1 = first quality pallets.
- choice 2 = second quality pallets light /dark.
- choice 3 = light defect pallets needs to be taken care of but not much work. ( go’s direct to a repair table)
- choice 4 = heavy damaged pallets ( go’s to the dismantler robot first and than to the repair table)
For choice 3 and 4 stacker 3 and 4 can buffer them by overflow and release them when there is a demand.
The modifications proposed by us ensure that we save a robot operator and one Yaskawa Motoman Robotic Pallet Disassembly, and we have improved the output of the plant. We have expanded the existing components from the pallet sorting line to a full Standard Pallet Sorting Line of PSS.
