Krause Palettenhandel und Transportverpackungen in Germany has invested in a pallet repair line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS).
The line is built for the efficient repair of Europallets and supports a streamlined workflow for four pallet repair operators.
The layout is designed to make the work easier, reduce physical strain, and ensure a consistent, high-quality repair process.
The pallet repair line is equipped with a side infeed, where unrepaired pallets are placed by the forklift onto a non-powered roller conveyor.
From this buffer, the pallet repair operators take the pallets at an ergonomic working height.
After repair, the pallets are transferred via an automatic outfeed conveyor to a single stacker, where pallets are stacked to the desired height.
This creates an organised and continuous workflow.
The line is modular and can be expanded later with additional modules, such as extra repair stations or a connection to a pallet sorting line.
The workstations are designed to make pallet repair lighter, safer and more ergonomic:
This layout supports a balanced workload and a safe working environment for all four pallet repair operators.
The investment in the pallet repair line provides Krause Palettenhandel und Transportverpackungen with several operational advantages:
By automatically transporting repaired pallets and stacking them uniformly, the workflow becomes clearer, planning improves, and operational costs are reduced.
