The New Pallet Repair Line for Rotomt Lda Portugal

Pallet Sorting Systems B.V. Has order to create a New Pallet Repair Line with 6 repair tables and integrated it into the PSS sorting line at Rotom Lda Portugal

Pallet Sorting:

• The pallet sorting and repair line is suitable for the 800 x 1200 and 1000 x 1200 size pallets.
• This Pallet Sorting machine is equipped with four stackers, the option to apply nests is in stacker 3 and 4.
• The pallets are automatically reversed (or not) after inspection to properly load into the stackers.
• Stacker four can interlock pallets.
• The operator makes for each pallet a choice after removing Plastic, Paper and lose material, he sends the pallets to one of the 3 stackers he uses for good quality.
• The pallets that needs repairing go to the top-line with deck down ready and in position to be repaired. By overflow the pallets go to stacker four.

Pallet Repairing:

• Between the inspection position and the stackers we place 6 Pallet Repair Tables.
• The people who work on the repair tables can take a pallet from the Top-line and start repairing the pallet.
• When the repairing is ready they can make a choice with a push-button, and slide the pallet in the machine that brings it to the chosen stacker.
• The machine stacks and mixes sorted and repaired pallets together.
• At the same time several types and sizes of pallets are being sorted and repaired, and moving to the right stacker by the machine.
• Each workplace has 4 choices that can be made to send pallets.
• The machine keeps track of how many have been repaired and what has been repaired by workplace.
• The Pallet Sort and Repair Line processes the sorted and repaired pallets simultaneously and sorts the repaired pallets into 3 types.
• Pallets to be repaired are nested in stacker 4 in blocks of 16 and supplied with the workbench for repair.
• The interlocked pallets have the advantage of doubling the number of pallets towards the repair tables. This halves the forklift movements.
  The machine can be used for:

Sorting incoming pallets.

• Place pallets to be repaired in small stacks and stack up after repair, in type sorted at desired height.
• Simultaneous Sorting and Repairing of Pallets.

Unlock and Interlocking of pallets.

• The Machine is also used for pallet unlocking and interlocking.
• The machine can interlock pallets in stacker 4
• Pallets to be repaired are interlocked in stacker 4 in blocks of 16 and supplied by forklift the workbench for repair.
